The Killing Game is a thrilling, one sitting read that easily earned all the stars!

Book Description:

Imagine you are having lunch at an exclusive restaurant, filled with Hollywood’s hottest stars.

And a masked gunman walks in and takes everyone hostage.

You must bargain for your life against a twisted individual who knows everything about you.

He also has a bomb set to detonate if his heart rate changes.

If he dies. You die.

You have four hours to stay alive.

What would you do?

My Thoughts:

I don’t want to sound cliché but you do need to clear your schedule when you read this one, it’s so unpredictable and gripping you won’t want to put it down!

It’s so hard to get a reservation at Alfie’s, the exclusive restaurant for the rich and famous, JJ has connections and she is able to get a table, but that table might just cost her her life! When a masked gunman with a bomb strapped to his chest takes everyone hostage, your negotiation skills really come into play, say the wrong thing and bang! The gunman was so unpredictable; I couldn’t read this book fast enough. My heart rate was constantly rising and falling, it’s a good thing the bomb wasn’t strapped to my chest!

For a story that is largely set in one place, Carol was able to create so many twists and keep me guessing. This book will have you on the edge of your seat questioning who’s next to die! I highly recommend this book to lovers of fast-paced thrillers.
