My Thoughts:

#WTFthatending – never have I seen a hashtag so fitting for a book! You just won’t believe the way this one ends, and if you’re like me, feeling a bit confident like yeah I know where this is going, let me tell you, you’re wrong. This ending goes somewhere then takes you somewhere else completely!

Louise, David and Adele, a love triangle like no other. The hype surrounding this book is crazy, before reading it, I felt like I was on the outside of some secret club, desperate to get it. And now I’m in, this is definitely a club you want to be part of! My interest was piqued from the very beginning, and with each page the anticipation was building. I knew something big was coming, but Pinborough gives no indication of what, and that’s why this book is so satisfying. It was everything I thought it would be and more.

It’s dark, it’s chilling, it’s shocking. What starts as an office crush, and a sneaky kiss in a bar, becomes a tale of lies, deceit, obsession and control – all building towards the ending that will blow your mind. With narrators you can’t trust, this is a brilliant psychological thriller with an ending that will push your brain to it’s limits.

Look closely, give this book your full attention, and enjoy this one-of-a-kind read.
